Who am I?
Hi, Im a small town girl-- lover of all animals, people, COFFEE, and music-- from a very small city in Michigan that almost nobody has heard of (unless, of course, you were born and raised here.) My name is Carlie Noelle, and I am a passionate daughter of the King!
In September 2019 I took a huge leap of faith and hopped on a plane that was headed to Kona, Hawaii. I was set to take part in a DTS (Discipleship Training School) at Youth With A Mission Kona. Let me tell you this: I had NO idea what was in store.
During the first three month-- lecture phase-- which was in Kona, the Lord revealed himself in amazing ways and completely transformed my life. I know that sounds a bit cliché, but if you would like to know more details about the ways he moved please contact me, I would love to chat!
God put me on the most amazing team that was by far the "dream team." I was so honored with the people the Lord blessed me by making my teammates, and the most amazing leader. Everyone had different gifts and callings, and came from very different environments, which made us a holy force to be reckoned with. We became family bonded by something so much greater than ourselves, so much greater than the blood running through our veins or the air within our lungs. Jesus placed each of us on this team for a very specific reason-- to grow more in love with Him and to know Him deeper with the love and support of other young fiery believers by our side.
We were sent to the Himalayas, where I met some of the most amazing people of my life, went through some of the hardest circumstances I've had to up to this point in my life, and sought Him out through all of it. I learned in my heart what it meant for Jesus to be my healer and comforter on a deeper level then ever before, I learned what it means to be truly patient (which is a never ending teaching), and that everyone is deserving of grace-- I am deserving of grace and have learned how to recognize when I am withholding it from myself.
"There is so much grace it's insane."
As of now, I am back in small town Michigan for the time being. You can often find me making coffee downtown Kalamazoo or attempting to help someone pick out flowers that I still have minimal knowledge of. I have intentions to return to Kona this summer to take part in Leadership Track to then staff Fire and Fragrance for two years. I am so excited for what the Lord has in store for me, and I am thankful that you have decided to embark this journey with me!
